Community Facilities We Build
Women's Refuges & Safe Houses
Secure, culturally safe refuge facilities — private bedrooms, communal kitchen and living areas, laundry, outdoor spaces, and security fit-outs. We understand the operational requirements of refuge providers and build to strict confidentiality and safety protocols.
Community Health Spaces
Clinic fitouts, consulting rooms, treatment areas, accessible bathrooms, and culturally safe waiting rooms for community-controlled health services. We deliver to infection-control standards and AS 1428.1 accessibility requirements.
Land Council & LALC Housing
New builds, extensions, and renovations for Local Land Council housing portfolios. We understand LALC procurement frameworks, community approval processes, and the importance of local employment and supply-chain outcomes on community housing projects.
Cultural & Community Centres
Community halls, gathering spaces, multipurpose rooms, and cultural facilities. We work with community boards, elders groups, and management committees to deliver spaces that meet operational needs and reflect community identity.
Maintenance & Compliance
Scheduled and reactive maintenance for community-owned buildings — carpentry, painting, flooring, compliance upgrades (fire, accessibility, waterproofing), and urgent repairs. We hold current insurances and inductions suitable for occupied community facilities.
Accessibility Upgrades
Ramps, accessible bathrooms, wider doorways, and other modifications to bring older community buildings up to DDA and AS 1428.1 standards. We manage council approvals and deliver staged works that keep facilities operational throughout.

AMS clinic fitout — internal partitions, accessible bathroom, infection-control flooring, and handover to strict AMS operational standards. Sub-contracted to Rogers Building Co. Community stakeholders engaged throughout.
How We Work on Community Projects
- Stakeholder Engagement & Community Protocols. Before mobilisation, we meet with community boards, management committees, and elders groups to understand protocols, community priorities, and expectations. We don't move until community is aligned.
- Design & Compliance Review. We review plans for accessibility compliance (AS 1428.1), safety and security requirements, and construction feasibility. We flag buildability issues early to avoid costly variations during build.
- Pricing & Procurement Pathway. We price lump-sum or schedule-of-rates. For direct community engagement, we offer local employment and local supply-chain commitments. For tier-1 subcontract on government-funded community projects, we align with head-contract reporting requirements.
- Staged Delivery & Minimal Disruption. Community facilities are often operational during construction. We stage works by zone, communicate with facility managers daily, and hand over room-by-room if required to maintain services throughout the build.
- Handover, Training & Warranty. We provide O&M manuals, warranties, defects register, and on-site walk-through training for facility staff. 12-month defects liability standard.
