Kitchen, bathroom, laundry & butler’s pantry.Cessnock.

The problem

Tired rooms — and once opened up, non-compliant floor joists, walls out of plumb and a ceiling that needed new joists and a hanging beam.

What we did

• Bathroom rebuilt: new joists and bearers, Villaboard walls, VJ raked ceiling, niche, corner seat, barn door, tiled to the ceiling
• Kitchen and laundry stripped, reframed and re-sheeted
• New kitchen, laundry and butler’s pantry
• Dining, living and laundry floors relaid in Baltic pine to match the existing boards, sanded and coated

The result

A stunning new kitchen, bathroom, laundry and butler’s pantry in a character home.
